Staff, volunteers, county officials and hundreds of animal lovers celebrated at a ribbon-cutting event at the new Williamson County Animal Center in February. The new center in Franklin replaced the former 13,000-square-foot facility on Claude Yates Drive that was built in 1995. It’s projected to meet the needs of the county’s four-legged population until 2040.
