The Franklin Justice and Equity Coalition (FJEC) hosted its third annual Juneteenth festival on June 18, followed by the African American Heritage Society of Williamson County’s 18th Juneteenth celebration at McLemore House in Franklin on June 20. The FJEC event featured live music, more than 110 vendors (90% Black-owned businesses), food trucks, prizes, a Mars Petcare-sponsored pet zone and a Franklin Pediatrics-sponsored kid’s zone.
