Most of us are trying to get organized, get healthy and prioritize what’s most important. I have been spending time scheduling doctor visits that I have put off because, like most mom’s, I have been taking everyone else to the doctor and not scheduling my own wellness visits.

Williamson Health is the new brand that includes Williamson Medical Center, Bone & Joint and Vanderbilt Walk In Clinics all under one umbrella. They are providing top of the line, award winning healthcare for Williamson County and have a new capital campaign and expansion in the works. For this month’s cover, we were able to get a bird’s eye view of the expansion from the rooftop of Williamson Medical Center with CEO Phil Mazzuca.

I feel blessed to be in a county where we have access to Williamson Medical Center (including Monroe Carrel Jr. Children’s Hospital Vanderbilt at Williamson Medical Center), Bone and Joint, Vanderbilt Health and Williamson Medical Walk In Clinic all under the same umbrella. In honor of black history month, we have an update on Shorter Chapel, home church of our beloved Mary Mills, and the restoration of their historic Bell Tower-in large part due to some very special donors in our community.

Be well and here is to an amazing 2023!
