Pork Belly Farmhouse is a Southern, modern, local eatery in Nolensville that focuses on the guest experience and prides itself on delivering freshly prepared food.

Kevin Crowley has been the general manager at Pork Belly Farmhouse, which opened in September of 2018, since the beginning. He even helped paint the building and with landscaping.

While the last year and a half has provided challenges, the restaurant is still flourishing thanks to some wise maneuvering.

“Our philosophy has stayed consistent,” Crowley says. “We focus on giving people a wonderful experience. We shifted gears focusing on curb side, delivery and even had to restructure our phone system. We got creative to keep us going.”

A focus on community is important to Crowley and his management team. The restaurant partners with local nonprofits like Art Helps Cancer and others.

Crowley says while they do try to change the menu for seasonal selections, there are certain items that never go away. One of those staples is the potato crusted salmon.

“Customers would have a fit if we removed the salmon off the menu,” Crowley says.

Crowley points out Pork Belly Farmhouse is not like other restaurants in that after a customer orders, time is taken to prepare every entrée from scratch just the way the customer ordered it. Food is always freshly prepared, and gluten-free and vegan options are available.

Tuesdays are Family Nights, where a free piglet meal comes with each purchase of an adult entrée and anything listed on the wine list is half off.

Wednesday is considered “steak day” with a special priced meal that is posted on social media each week.

Happy Days are every Thursday and Sunday, including $3 beers, house wines that are $3.50 by the glass, $6 cocktails and appetizer specials.

Crowley is proud of the Pork Belly Farmhouse management team, including Phil Vaughn, assistant manager; Jay Crowley, bar manager; Megan Alexander, executive chef/ pastry chef; Jujuan Thomas, sous chef; Brendan Phelps, sous chef; and Stephanie Porterfield, host manager.

Pork Belly Farmhouse is open Tuesday through Thursday from 4-9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 4-10 p.m. and Sunday from 4-9 p.m. It’s closed Monday.
