Maggie, Derby and Russell Derby Jones, hiking the trails at the Inn on Biltmore Estate, Asheville, North Carolina 2017.

Home, travel and food.

Three of my favorite things.

The pandemic has been hard for a lot of small businesses to navigate. As I watch small businesses struggling I empathize with them and try to support local whenever I can.

It does make me hopeful to see that some categories of business are doing ok, even thriving throughout this pandemic. One of those is real estate. I think people are taking stock of their homes. They are thinking about how their home functions with their lifestyle. They are considering how much they hate that paint color they chose 10 years ago. They are also thinking how nice a home office would be with kids at home doing remote learning.

Whatever the case, real estate is booming here in Williamson County. And whether your home needs a refresh, you are in the market for a new home, or wanting to list yours – Williamson County is stocked with many real estate professionals to help meet your needs.

When we need to get away from home, a lot of us think of the mountains this time of year. And what better place to escape to than Asheville, North Carolina. Between the beautiful landscape colors, the music and the food – Asheville has it all.

Speaking of great food. There is a new eatery in town called CoreLife Eatery that has opened its second location in Cool Springs. Their mission is healthy great tasting ingredients that are convenient, without sacrificing nutritional value. Check them out!
