Giving is the best part of Christmas for me, it brings me so much joy to search for that special gift for everyone on my list. I think most people are hard-wired to be generous and are most fulfilled when they are able to share with those they love. Giving promotes connections and if there was ever a time that we need to feel more connected, this is it.

It really is the thought that counts and when you put thought into your purchases, you’ll get as much out of it as the receiver, if not more! We all need a boost this year and I put together a few ideas to help you spread holiday cheer to those that mean the most to you. Creating a great presentation in a cute container shows you put some extra love in it.

Giving isn’t only about gifts, find ways to give your time, your talents and your heart to everyone you can this season. A handwritten note and some home baked goods for a neighbor, drop off some holiday cards or drawings from your child to a retirement home or just smile and give compliments to those you encounter throughout your day.

Let’s spread kindness, love and lots and lots of holiday cheer my dears!
